Last night I tried the sugar scrub from Lush for the first time.
Lordy Lord it smells SO GOOD. All through my shower I couldn't get over how unbelievably good the smell was. The sugar scrub crumbled in a couple of seconds. I took off a small piece and saved the rest in the soap shelf. But in a couple of seconds, it started melting and the green liquid flowed into the bath tub !! So I made it quick run into the kitchen, grabbed a container and pulled my wondrous sugar scrub in.
That's that. But now I had a lot of this fantastic scrub just lying in there in the soap shelf. So I gathered the puddle into my palms and scrubbed the he*l outta my hands. Every stroke just made my hands softer and softer and softer. By the end my hands felt like two of the softest pillows ever.
So soft I dreamed of running my hands all over shaking hands with officer Sam Swareck and he continuing to hold on, coz my hands were just the softest. All the while I looked deep into his dreamy eyes and he continued to charm the pants off me with his dimples...This is exactly what I meant when I retweeted...
Me and Sam Swareck are officially an item.
In my head.
Speaking of dimples...check this out.

I need to know.
You see, summer is a really hard time for me.
Exceptionally hard.
When the whole world around me is thinking of
barbecues
White clothes
Sandals
Sun
Tan
Holiday
and other fluff like that
I am busy thinking about
Pools filled with kids who do stuff in the pool
Adult jumping into the same pool
Treacherous Heat
Dreaded Sun
A/C Bills
Sweat stains on white clothes
You get the drift ?
My safe haven is my bathroom. I try to be water conscious so make my 10 minutes in the shower count.
For the last few months of glorious winter I loved my Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash. Its very creamy , has a good scent and is relatively cheap. I found it for $2 at Big Lots, man ! I went through a couple of bottles lathering it generously on my parched skin, enjoying the softness and hydration it retained after a hot shower.Gimme the best bath product for summer. What makes you feel good ? What is heat / summer friendly ?

Nothing does all the above better than a bar of soap. I picked this up at Walmart.

For now I am happy doin Olay in the shower.
Wait that doesn't sound right.
At all.
Also if the one major question in your life has been -
I'll give you the cheat sheet on that - Olay. This summer I have finally realized Dove to me is a winter soap not 85 degree Texan Summer disguised as Spring soap.-------------------------------- Olay or Dove ?--------------------------------

Hard to go wrong with something that is 99.02 % natural !
A few weeks back I came to you guys, asking if you'd tried Burt's Bees products before . Apart from the occasional lip balm I was fairly new to the brand and started my adventure with their Radiance Exfoliating Body Wash.
The main ingredients in the product include royal jelly - for moisture and jojoba beads - for exfoliation. The moisture from the product is good- as in I never experienced any dry skin issues for as long I used it . But the jojoba seeds don't do much for exfoliation - they are just there that's all.
The body wash cleanses like no other - it has become my favorite after work out body wash. Every drop of sweat & dirt is washed out without any stripping or drying of skin ! Lathering is minimal but overall a great entry into the brand for me. I look forward to checking out the moisturizers in the radiance line...hear they are just as great !

Speaking of all things natural, your girl here made her first green juice a few days back. This is the recipe I used : Kale leaves + ginger + celery + lemon juice. All organic and fresh ingredients. I made the juice using a regular blender and then used a strainer to squeeze the pulp out. Later I mixed the pulp with some mashed potatoes and made kebabs out of it - but that's a whole another story for another time. The juice wasn't bad at all except for the raw smell of the greens. Lemon and ginger made it so much better !
But that's not all - I swear to you I felt like my skin was way brighter and fresher after a couple of cups of green juice. It is not totally in my head - a majority though may be. Apparently green juice feeds the body with extra oxygen and cleanses the system making for better skin !
But then of course you've heard all this if you've been following me on twitter. Sorry about the repeat telecast ! I have a few other recipes for green juice - will share them as I make em ! have you tried green juice ?

Hold on Kyle
HOLD ON Kyle.
Kyle will you hold on please.Where has the shimmer gone ? The last time I tried Olay Body Quench, it was full of shimmer and so was I. Even folks in my glitter friendly state give me a the look when I walked out in the middle of winter looking like Cartman...
But not anymore apparently. The shimmer is gone but the skin saving ingredients still remain - my skin says so.
And I always trust my skin.
It never lies.
This is how it works : The Olay Quench Advanced Healing Body Lotion, is said to break the dry skin cycle by providing an immediate burst of intense moisture that continues for 24 hours. This helps heal & repair skin’s moisture barrier over time to prevent dry skin from coming back.
The lotion I tried is Fragrance Free but still has some scent to it. Just not a very obvious one. You wont be able to point out the smell, but it exists and its not something I am very fond of.
Scent apart I have no qualms about the lotion. Its light, yet it provides a generous dose of moisture. Gets absorbed rapidly even on my driest skin days, zero stickiness and makes me feel better almost instantly. I love it most because it got rid of this huge dry spot right on the center of my back. Its been a great lotion this winter but I'm sure I'll continue using it well into spring.
Have you tried Olay Body Quench ? Do you have a favorite body lotion ?

Last week I woke up one night at 2 AM.
I couldn't take it anymore.
It wasn't the baby next door crying.
I couldn't bear it any longer. I ran to the bathroom.
It had nothing to do with my bladder. Lord knows, the bladder works overtime what with me guzzling down over 64 oz of water a day. Not like you wanna know about it.
But yeah it wasn't my bladder. Not this time.
This time it was my skin.
My dry parched skin.
Dry parched skin spread all around my legs and body. So dry it was paining. My skin was paining and I couldn't sleep anymore. I had to run to the bathroom, and slather moisturizer all over my body. At the end of it I almost wanted to cry. I felt *so* much better. I was beating myself up for not following with my advice on moisturizing soon after shower.
Not anymore. I have gotten back to religiously applying moisturizer after my shower. If I'm feeling lazy I just think of that night and in no time I'm squeezing the bottle of lotion out.
Apart from at home lotion-ing I carry a tube of moisturizer everywhere I go. I have one stashed in the car, one in each of the two bags I carry. I carry a tube of Curel. It is one of my absolute favorite drugstore brand.
They have tubes of Curel hand creams and the lotion itself in small travel size tubes. I use them both everywhere - legs, knees, elbows, hands and face. A few years back I had a really bad episode of dry skin on my face. I tried several products including Olay, Palmers butters, The Body Shop products - nothing helped. The only thing that worked was Curel's Lavender lotion on my face. I've been a fan ever since !

This girl here has a mini obsession with with the word " bright ". Bright anything - I will try. So, of course when my dearly beloved Carol's Daughter brought out a new Brighten Up Body Cleanser - I had to try ! Plus, it didn't really break my bank.
Spirit Talk
The Brighten Up Body Cleanser is a gel based cleanser that foams like crazy. All you need is a loofah to lather up and get squeaky clean. It looks tame in the bottle but once out its got amazing citrus fragrance that uplifts any spirit in the bathroom and few others that come after.
NO I ain't talking no Ghost Buster stuff . I mean spirit - your spirit, my spirit, healthy spirit....
The wondrous grapefruit fragrance stays on my skin and in the bathroom for quite some time. Another reason I don't have the
reeds in my bathroom.
Its got Shea and Cocoa butters to prevent drying. I don't necessarily feel dry after my shower but I do appreciate a good dollop of moisturizer all over. I wish it came with a twin moisturizer so I could add a second layer of the fragrance !
And just in case you were wondering ( I was...) , it is not a brightening product. As in - it does not brighten up your skin . It cleans the skin and brightens up your day.
Wait, I Don't Like Citrus
No worries, there are two other options for y'all ! You can either relax with the lavender & chamomile gel or you can get fresh with the Honey Dew, Spearmint gel !
But just so you know, these two don't brighten your day. They freshen, they relax, they don't brighten.

I cant remember how young I was when I first saw Dove's ad that said their soaps had 1/4th moisturizer in it. But I remember, soon after that I convinced my mom and dad that if there was a soap my sister and I were going to use - it was Dove.
What was your first beauty purchase as a kid ? How much parental convincing did it take ?
Here are some stories from our Twitter brigade

That should establish the fact that I love Dove bar soaps. My next favorite would be Olay Oatmeal which is becoming extremely hard to find. You know what they say...out of sight, out of mind.

Dove recently introduced a Body Wash collection that contains the NutriumMoisture™ technology. This new technology can penetrate up to ten layers of skin ( I didn't know we had so many ! Dermis & epidermis is all I remember from school). Most body washes either strip out deeper layers of moisture make us feel dry or just sit on top of our skin making us feel good on the outside while the lipids and proteins on the inside, starve from lack of moisture. The New Dove Body washes promise to preserve our natural proteins and lipids by proving them adequate moisture.
Ooh I love all things scientific !
The Body washes are available in Deep Moisture, Sensitive Skin and Gentle Exfoliating formulas. I tried them all and had two clear favorites - deep moisture (DM) and sensitive skin (SS). DM, a little more than SS. Now I really cannot strip down to ten layers below and find out if they were moisturized but I can tell ya, I haven't needed a body lotion since I began with these. Both SS and DM create mad lather which the suds queen loves. They are thicker than most body washes, almost like a body lotion. But when you get out , there is no slimy greasy feeling that comes from most super moisturizing formulas. This is especially important to me, given the hot humid weather .

The exfoliating body wash was my least favorite. It is moisturizing but not really exfoliating. They call it a gentle exfoliator but I like something a lot more scrub-by. Something that will take the dirt away after a hard day at the ranch.
That's right I said ranch.
Aah, who am I kiddin.
I ain't no cow girl. But I like a good body scrub. In this one, I could hardly feel the beads. May be its good for sensitive skin ? Or for gently exfoliating right before shaving ?

PS : I bought the Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Deodorant (Fresh Scent) last week and Hallelujah !!! Its brilliant ! I promise you it was good for over 24 hours, man !! I'll write about it soon !
Good Morning Ladies !
Happy Monday ! Lets start off the day with a product that works !
The New Clinical Defense Roll On Antiperspirant were created with the highest percentage of antiperspirant level possible without a prescription. That sounds safe and good ! I was up was testing it after my recent Dove debacle. Plus I had never tried a roll on before. Seriously, why didn't I ? Its way better than stick ! None of the thick pastiness of the stick or the white residue. They dry immediately and remain completely invisible !The BAN Clinical Defense Roll On worked very well for me. It did keep me dry at least 8-9 hours. I wouldn't stretch it out to 24 hours though they claim it is a 24 hour wetness protection. But then again, antiperspirants work differently on each of us. For me 8 hours dryness was more than enough. I was also really happy that even after two hours of sweating at the gym, I did not stink one bit. In other words I don't have to do my laundry that often. Now that's a great feeling!
Have you tried BAN products ? Did you like em ? What is your fav deo / antiperspirant ?

Just got out of the shower. Around here, this is as fresh as a review gets. FRESH !
If there is one thing beauty blogging has taught me, it is to be more open minded when it comes to products. Now, generally if I saw the words Brown Sugar on anything I would stay away expecting a sickeningly sweet smell. I would also stay away from something that says Evenly Gorgeous and looks golden in color expecting a whole lotta glitter or even worse a gradually tanning product. But the Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash is none of that. It is delicately sweet smelling and has nothing to do with glitter or tanning. It is an exfoliating body wash and a very good one at that ! The two main ingredients include brown sugar and Karite butter work well at gentle everyday exfoliation and provide adequate moisture. Given that its summer I usually don't follow up with a body lotion and with this body wash I don't have to. It keeps my skin soft and comfortable all in one step !
Also I am beginning to believe that sugar exfoliation is way better than salt. Salt is just too abrasive. So, go ahead and embrace sugar. Or should I say Caress it (corny, I know).
It smells great and you will too !

I'll keep this simple and get straight to the point. I was super sad it did not work for me. I mean everybody was talking about it and the ads were great, so I ran to CVS and got it. Unfortunately the Go Fresh stick deodorant failed to keep me dry. And I did not like the Grapefruit & lemongrass scent. There actually was no Grapefruit or lemon grass scent to it. All I got was a typical deodorant scent. No like that's bad but I wanted the G and L .
I am now officially going back to my Dove original for sensitive skin . That one works great, stays on for hours and has no scent ! All hail the original.

I feel HOT during summers. LOL, well that's a given but the emphasis is on HOT. It has something to do with my internal body composition - I feel way too hotter than most people. I am the opposite of vampires ( sorry I just saw The New Moon trailer and I just had to say it). I am constantly washing my feet with cool water when at home so my body feels just a bit cooler. That should tell you enough about why I am excited over a blue cooling spray for my feet. The moment I saw the Peppermint Cooling Spray from The Body Shop ($10) I knew it was made for me. The cooling menthol and peppermint oils provide much needed relief to my burning toes. It also has Castor Oil, the only other cooling oil I know of ! My mom always said that if I kept my head and feet cool, the rest of the body's temperature gets automatically readjusted. I don't know the science behind this but the refreshing effect of the menthol feels glorious during theses never ending hot summer months.
Do you know where they sell menthol / peppermint oils ? I am thinking of making this spray myself. But I need to find out the secret behind the instant drying and absence of grease despite the oils. Once I get my hands on that, I'm gonna start whipping up stuff in my kitchen. Who knows I might be the next Shehnaz Hussain or Lisa Price. Now tell me where can I find the oils ?
Oh how I love this song !

Boscia is a Japan based Preservative- free skin care brand. After having read about it several times in O , Lucky , InStyle and other magazines I was very curious and terribly excited to give them a try. It did not disappoint me one bit.
Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast ($22)
What is it ?
A refreshing, deep cleansing gel helps to clear pores and bring out your skin's natural defenses against skin irritations and reactions. Leaves skin clean, clear and free of shine. The Botanical Blast technology is a pure, highly-effective problem skin treatment using a select blend of the finest botanicals available to improve skin clarity, tone and texture. My Experience :
Deep Cleansing it is ! Took off every inch of make up from my face ! Mascara, eyeliner, shadow, foundation, concealer - all gone in one wash ! I did not even use a Q tip ! The best part is that it did not sting my eyes, one bit. Extremely gentle but powerful stuff. It did leave my dry skin a little dry but some moisturizer took care of it. I am gonna pack it up and store it until summer when I'll need something gentle and effective at getting rid of the oilies & the layers of sticky sunscreen. I highly recommend this for people with oily skin. It should clear out the pores and give you a clear matte face :)
Jujube Rejuvenist Whipped Body Creme : ($30)
What is it ?
A luxurious treatment of impeccable texture and quality, designed to soften and beautify the entire body. Vitamin-rich Jujube Fruit encourages healthy cell rejuvenation, improving elasticity and firmness, while diminishing the appearance of scars and stretch marks. Botanical brighteners, Mulberry and Peony Root, enliven skin tone and clarity, imparting a youthful glow. Fast-absorbing moisture, from Rosehip Oil, abundant in essential fatty acids, along with Serine amino acid and Hyaluronic Acid, locks-in intense hydration for silky-smooth skin. Natural essences of exotic Yuzu and Roman Chamomile are refreshing and delicate. Willowherb soothes sensitivities while organic Jojoba Leaf provides powerful antioxidant protection against premature agingMy Experience
I love the texture of this whipped creme because it falls right in between body lotion and cream. Its rich but spreads very easily and get absorbed very fast too. I am not sure about its effect on stretch mars and scars. I personally don't think anything works on stretch marks...but as far as moisturizing, non sticky comfort is concerned - I give it two thumbs up.
I do find the products to be a little on the expensive side, but I like the fact that it provides many options for people with sensitive skin or for any one who is allergic to preservatives. People who are extremely cautious about what they put on their body will also love the fact that it comes with an expiry date and is preservative free. Boscia also makes supplements that aid with beauty from the inside out. As far as I go - I'll use anything and everything as long as it makes me feel good !

What is Soap & Paper Factory ?
Makers of cute products that come with even cuter earth friendly packaging, all natural, not tested on animals, paraben free, organic and based out of New York !
Fizzing Bath Powder($36)
Cleopatra apparently used to bathe with Donkey's Milk. Can you imagine doing that ? I certainly wont ...naa aaah never. I mean c'mon, don't you hate the smell of raw milk ? And, coming from a donkey doesn't make it any better. However milk has some amazing skin softening properties that I would like to experience. Well, that's why we need Soap & Paper Factory and their Fizzing Bath Powder
Like everything else from Soap & Paper Factory, the powder comes in a big beautiful box made from recycled paper and is complete with cute flower patters & satin ribbons ! Two scoops of the Fizzing Powder(they even provide a shell for it, how cute!) will turn your bath into a creamy almost milk like one accompanied with a beautiful scent. My favorite is the Orange Blossom ! None of the yuck milk stink here. Plus its all natural ! Beat that Cleopatra...
Soap Bar ($14)
This stuff is huge. Don't you dare drop it in the shower. You foot will curse you, big time. The Soap & Paper Factory Soap Bar in Cinnamon & Clove is one of the few soap bars that does not dry me out. It has a wonderfully warm scent of the spices, adding a punch to an otherwise boring shower. Like all other products from this factory the soap bar is hand made and is free from harmful wax, petroleum and other harmful products. It is even safe to use on babies ! The big chunky soap lasted a little over a month though I used it every single day !!!
Body Scrub ($44)
Get ready for some Hard Core exfoliation !! Having tried several cream based body scrubs (delicate dahlings), I was ready for some intense action. The Body Scrub from Soap & Paper Factory is a salt scrub that is excellent for powerful body exfoliation. The salt invigorates the body, making for an energizing experience. Vibrant, silky soft skin is the added bonus ;) The scrub comes in a huge jar that is sure to last a long long time. 10% of the proceeds from selling this scrub is donated to a non profit organization - Maloto.

Avon has definitely taken the front seat as far as affordable , quality bath & body products are concerned. My bff is a BIG fan of Avon. In fact her whole family is an Avon family. It was first at her place that I tried the Skin So Soft - Soft & Sensual Shower Gel and fell in love with it. It had the most beautiful sensual smell of roses that made showering with it an absolute luxury.
Having had such an awesome experience with Soft & Sensual , I was excited to try Light & Lush and Soft & Nourish from the same Skin So Soft line.
Soft & Nourish Dual Softening Body Moisturizer ($8)
Hands down the best moisturizer in this price range. Why is it called dual ? Because the moisturizer has two formulas - one blue , one white and when you squeeze it out it comes half blue and half white - so preeeety ! The sweet almond and jojoba in formula # 1 helps smooth the skin surface leaving it soft and radiant while the formula # 2 with its sweet white lupine and glycerin helps retain the moisture for long.
The cream is thick and takes a while to spread all over your body. Not the best if you are in a hurry but if you're using this after your evening relaxed shower, you'll love how soft it leaves you.And the scent...oh the lovely smell...the powdery floral scent has me sniffing on it all day long ! The dry weather has had its toll on my hands. If my Knight in shining armor had come looking for me last week, he would have taken one good look at my hands and gone his way without me on his horse. Well , not this week...this week I'll ride with him ;) Thank you Avon !
Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash ($7) :
A creamy body cleanser with tiny beads in it to help with gentle exfoliation. True to its name the scent is really light and thank god for it , coz it smells of peaches. I don't like peaches but if you do you'll like this one. The scent washes off well, so I have no issues with it. Whats the duality story here ? Well, it exfoliates and hydrates the skin. For $7 this one is another awesome product for the recessionista !
Have you tried the Skin So Soft line ? Which one is your favorite ?

Sigh...the holidays are over...back to the bustle of life. I am one of those people who absolutely love the holiday buzz everywhere and miss it terribly when the Christmas tree is out the door, the lights gone from neighbors yard, no more Mariah Carey screaming Christmas..... on the radio. The only things left to keep my festive spirit going are the The Body Shop's Holiday Bath products in my bathroom.
For the holidays, Body Shop released three new holiday favorites : Warm Amber ( my all time fave), Vanilla Spice and Cranberry. I tried a few products from each of these scents and will be writing about them in the next few weeks ( yes, I'll hold onto Christmas as long as I can).
Vanilla Spice Body Polish :
I have always had a love hate relationship with body polishes. Most of the ones I've tried leave me feeling slimy because of the heavy cream that binds the exfoliating beads together. So I had resorted to my own sugar + honey recipe for a while. Well I wont be needing sugar anymore in the shower.
The Vanilla Spice Body Polish has Kiwi Seeds, Coconut Shell and Walnut shell pieces that help exfoliate your skin. To me its gentle enough to be used everyday but I've realised that once used the softness remains for the following two days so now I use it only twice or thrice a week. The nice part is that it leaves my skin feeling creamy and not slimy/oily. The smell is notoriously similar to Vanilla spice latte but I love it. Its not too strong and washes away well with water. Overall a winner for me !
Warm Amber Shimmery Body Lotion :
Warm Amber - yumm !!! This scent is delicious ! It is truly warm and soooo me ! The lotion is like any other regular shimmery lotion packed with tiny minuscule shimmer particles in a pool of moisturizer. Completely non sticky and moisturizing enough for regular winter skin.
The lotion is made from community trade shea butter that helps protect, soften the skin and has sesame oil and sweet almond oil to help soften and nourish skin. The bottle comes in a burnt orange and gold packaging which I love !
These two products together give me the polished, smooth and glossy skin - like I've spent the whole day getting massages done. Hurray for such everyday at-home luxuries ! Whats even better is these are on super sale now. Check it out here.

I have heard of Crabtree and Evelyn before but had never actually checked out their site or their products. My God, the scents and flavors they have ! You have to check it out - Pineapple & Ginger, Mango & Cranberry, Avocado & Basil - its going to be hard to keep me from putting a dollop of the cream into my mouth !
The Crabtree & Evelyn Aromatherapy Distillations Body Lotions come in three different scents that are meant to create different sensations like purifying & refreshing / relaxing - soothing / revitalizing - conditioning. The one I tried was the Purifying - refreshing body lotion. The scent of the lotion is from essential oils of lime & eucalyptus. The product is also infused with cooling peppermint oil, skin - clarifying cucumber and lemon grass extracts that help tone and refresh the skin.
Refreshing Scent !
I had a very pleasant experience with it. I love the faint eucalyptus smell ! Especially during winters smelling eucalyptus oil helps clear blockages and stuffed noses. So, I found it very refreshing indeed ! Unless you hate the smell of eucalyptus or lime , it is hard to not like this lotion. It is light, completely non - sticky, sinks in easily and is free from paraben, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, sulphates and other bad stuff.
Handy Bottle - Yes ! But not so handy price ...
I really liked the packaging. It comes in a cute, stubby plastic bottle with a pump. The only thing not so nice is the price. The original cost is $19.50 but they are now on 20 % off now and are available for $15.60. I will definitely be sad when this bottle gets over but am not sure if I'll go back and buy it. If I do , then I wanna try the rosemary - lavender one , next time !

More of organic beauty products for you ! I earlier introduced Green By Nature to you with their Lip Scrub. Today I bring to you more from the same line, to satisfy your craving for quality affordable organic products !
What is Green By Nature ?
"Green by Nature™ is an all natural bath and body care line, created with you and the environment in mind. All our products are over 95% natural, and free of parabens, sulfates, DEA, petroleum, propylene glycol, sacchrine, dioxin, and phthalate."
"Each Green by Nature™ product contains a unique blend of 6 bio-renewable ingredients: grapefruit seed extract, shea butter, pistachio oil, aloe leaf extract, rosehip oil and beeswax."
Green by Nature Lip Glaze ($4.99) :
I tried their Lip Glaze in Cherry Mint. Though I am never a fan of cherry anything other than the fruit itself , I was surprised I did not mind this one at all. I guess it is because the cherry flavor is mild and combined with mint it becomes very subtle. The lip glaze has no color , it is clear and has a very sweet taste. The formula reminds me a lot of Co. Bigelow lip glosses but these ones are better in that they are not as thick and don't sit on your lips like gooey sticky glosses. It spreads easily and keeps my lips soft, hydrated and I don't have to worry about any harmful chemical !! You will love these if you are looking for minty, sweet tasting light glosses.
Green by Nature Lip Polish (3.99) :
I tried the lip polish in Ice and Cinnamon. Ice is a super frosty color that I think will look awesome on very very light skinned women. Cinnamon on the other hand is a pretty red with a hint of gold.I found that layering Ice over Cinnamon created a very pretty effect. You must try it ! These lip polishes are like butter. They glide on my lips infusing it with loads of minty freshness. The paper on top of the tube makes it a for a messy packaging but the long tubes are pretty. For $3.99 these are so worth it. If you are fan of Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers ( love Watermelon !), you will love these too. But if you don't like mint, stay away :)
Green by Nature Total Body Wash (8.99) :
I love foam. I have mentioned this before and I am gonna tell it again. I don't feel good in the shower unless I see loads of foam lathered up on my body and my hair. Given that, the body washes were hard for me to like. They do not foam much. They do a good job at cleaning but for me, it wasn't fun using them. However, they work great as hand wash for me. I love the mint green tea scent - its subtle and makes me feel like my hands are clean and fresh !
Green by Nature Body Butter ($11.99):
The Body Butter in Banana Shea was a surprise winner for me. I hate the smell of Shea and banana to me is good only as a fruit so I cringed the moment I saw Banana Shea. Still I opened the jar and slowly smelt it ....and I dint mind it at all ! In fact I liked it. Its not the regular shea or the regular banana smell. May be its some exotic banana because it smells pretty good ! I think I also felt a little vanilla scent somewhere in there. The butter is thick and perfect for long and dry winter nights. They work great on my heels too ! Before hitting the bed I shower and then slather some of this all over my body and feet only to wake up feeling soft and itch - free.
Overall Green By Nature is a great brand to try if you are looking for quality Organic, Natural , Paraben and Sulfate free beauty products at affordable prices. I do hope they expand their line in the future to accommodate a lot more flavors and scents. Some flower scents would be great for me! Lavender ...Hmmmm.....
