This is my second look using these colors - red and black. Though red is tough color to pull off, pairing it with black / dark gray makes for a wonderful and easy combination. Here I have used dark grey but you can alternatively use black too.

Products Used and Description:

1. Apply concealer all over your lids.
2. Apply the dark gray shadow all over the lid.
I used the dark gray color from Prestige Stormy.
3. Apply a little bit of a shimmery red color along the crease and blend it with the gray at the edges.
I used NYX shadow in Copper.
4. Run a matte red shadow over shimmery one and blend it upwards.
I used Revlon Golden Affair Blush in Merlot at Midnight.
5. Apply a shimmery white /off white shadow under your brow bone.
I used Revlon shadow in White Pearl sparingly.
6. Apply a black liquid liner along your upper lash line and a black pencil along your water line.
7. Apply the red shimmery shadow along your lower lash line using an angled eyeliner brush.
Do your brows and apply lots of mascara.

Thats it!! The red really brings out the brown in my eyes. I think its a great combo and is soon becoming my new favorite. I already wore it twice in the past two weeks. Its dark and mysterious and soooo fall! Since there is lots of red on the eyes, I went for an almost natural pink on the lips - Cover Girl Wetslicks Amazement Lipgloss in Everything's Rosy. My watermark is acting weird...I dont know what that 'W' is.

Ok this is not exactly how most " cutting the crease" looks look. But this is my interpretation of it. I tried making it more wearable as opposed to the drag queenish dark, sharp defining of the crease. My version is super mellow ...but bold for day wear (for me).

I used the pinkish red color from the LA Colors palette in Wine and Roses. For the crease I used Milani Storm. Use a small crease brush to help define the crease. I used the pale pink color as highlight from the same palette. The liner is Prestige liquid liner in black. You can take it another step ahead by using a more sparkly color as your highlight under the brows, defining your brows "extremely" well and adding false lashes.

Hey Guys!
Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was fab !!

For this look I used Prescriptives Bellini on the inner corner, NYX Copper in the middle and NYX Rust eye shadow on the crease and outer V of my eye. Add a thin line of eyeliner along your upper lash line, waterline and add a dash of mascara. Add the colors in the same order as on your lid along your lower lash line. Aint that simple? I love the look! I wore this with awesome coral lips - Jane Champagne Lipgloss + NYC Buff lipstick. This combination should look great in dark, tanned and medium fair skin !

Have Fun !!

When fellow blogger and reader Ranjani told me she was going to Vegas, I couldnt help but be super jealous. My mind has been on it , since then. Oh how I love Vegas! I love the city, the energy , the exhilarating feeling you get when you are in that city !!! Its like you can live off that energy for as long as you are there. Man, I wish i could make a trip to Vegas soon....

Anyways, this is a look dedicated to Vegas, to everybody who is going there for this long weekend and to you, Ranjani :) Have a great trip!!
I would pair this gold - red eye look with a beautiful wine red lipstick. It would bring out the red in your eyes and add the wonderful confident feeling that comes with wearing a red lipstick.

I just had this sudden urge to use red today and hence made this eye look using red and black.
I dint have a better red, but I guess a real bright red color would have been much much better. This is a red blush I had which I used as an eyeshadow ;)
Hope you like it !
