Boscia - Preservative - Free Skincare : Review

Boscia is a Japan based Preservative- free skin care brand. After having read about it several times in O , Lucky , InStyle and other magazines I was very curious and terribly excited to give them a try. It did not disappoint me one bit.

Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast ($22)

What is it ?

A refreshing, deep cleansing gel helps to clear pores and bring out your skin's natural defenses against skin irritations and reactions. Leaves skin clean, clear and free of shine. The Botanical Blast technology is a pure, highly-effective problem skin treatment using a select blend of the finest botanicals available to improve skin clarity, tone and texture.

My Experience :

Deep Cleansing it is ! Took off every inch of make up from my face ! Mascara, eyeliner, shadow, foundation, concealer - all gone in one wash ! I did not even use a Q tip ! The best part is that it did not sting my eyes, one bit. Extremely gentle but powerful stuff. It did leave my dry skin a little dry but some moisturizer took care of it. I am gonna pack it up and store it until summer when I'll need something gentle and effective at getting rid of the oilies & the layers of sticky sunscreen. I highly recommend this for people with oily skin. It should clear out the pores and give you a clear matte face :)

Jujube Rejuvenist Whipped Body Creme : ($30)

What is it ?

My Experience

I love the texture of this whipped creme because it falls right in between body lotion and cream. Its rich but spreads very easily and get absorbed very fast too. I am not sure about its effect on stretch mars and scars. I personally don't think anything works on stretch marks...but as far as moisturizing, non sticky comfort is concerned - I give it two thumbs up.

I do find the products to be a little on the expensive side, but I like the fact that it provides many options for people with sensitive skin or for any one who is allergic to preservatives. People who are extremely cautious about what they put on their body will also love the fact that it comes with an expiry date and is preservative free. Boscia also makes supplements that aid with beauty from the inside out. As far as I go - I'll use anything and everything as long as it makes me feel good !
