The romance in the song speaks to you ever so pleasantly... The singers are Shreya Ghoshal and Shankar Mahadevan, both have the voice of angels . Give it a try, even if you understand the language. Becca's new Santa Rosa Collection is soooo sooo sexy , that beats the everything outta other collections in the sexy department. It has a Latin flavor to it, featuring vibrant tones of Peruvian and Spanish colonial textiles and pottery.

Check this model out ! I really really wanted that bronzy glow she has. Its winter, I look pale and I need some golden glow to look presentable. Incomes Becca's Mineral Bronzing Powder and the sultry Soft Touch Blush in Songbird. Boy, oh boy....I'm so vain. I cant stop looking at the mirror. All I did was to apply one sweep of the bronzer along the natural hollow of my cheeks and few sweeps of the Songbird blush on top of maa cheekbones.


The bronzer is Becca's answer to the golden Caribbean tan that people spend $$$ for. It is smooth, silky and a natural looking bronzy shade. No orange , fake bakes here. I cant tell if it has tiny shimmer particles or not. My face glows but I see no shimmer ! If you liked NARS Zen / Sertao blushes, you'll LOVE this bronzer even more.

The Songbird Blush is a unique color. Though Becca calls it a bright orange pink, I'd say its much more complex than that. It is just the perfect partner for the bronzer. The formula is a sheer, semi matte, silky with finest of the finest shimmer. Sheer is great but with just about 3 to 4 strokes it builds up pretty strong.

Sexy glow - check !


Now onto the lips. I hate heavy lipsticks in Spring/ Summer. With winter I kiss everything heavy , good bye. Looks like Becca had a similar take on lipsticks. For the Spring/ Summer they have released a bunch of new Sheer Tint Lip Colours. Now mind you, they not very sheer - they still give a good amount of color with a single application. All the 7 shades strive to be a nude with a hint of color.

As always a few things remain the same with Becca - excellent packaging, preservative and paraben free products.

There is still the eyes to complete the model's sexy face look but I'll leave you with this for today. I don't want the attention taken away from the bronzer, blush and sheer lipsticks.

Last year I had an amazing experience with Sally Hansen's Lipnotic Lip gloss and this year I am more than happy to share another winning product from their Natural Beauty by Carmindy line.

I really cant pick one favorite, but I'll be reaching for Sugar Plum very often I guess. Juicy cherry though very pretty is a little on the cooler side, so its not on top of my list. Moonlight mauve is a very sexy color for a night out. Bronze berry, anytime , anywhere, anybody kinda shade. But if you are in the medium - dark / dark skin tone range , you have to get Spicy Sienna. Its a totally must have shade. Mystical Mauve looks exactly like NARS Turkish Delight on me...a sorta milky shade perfect with a sexy smokey eye look.

Dont we all have key words that we look for in everything. Like for me with food, its Grilled, Desserts its Chocolate , shampoos its Straightening, boys - I like em Tall and so on and so forth. Similarly when it comes to Moisturizers the one word that always gets me is - Brightening.

Off late I've been having good skin days (touch wood). No breakouts, no extreme dryness or oil. Still I my skin looked shallow...something was missing. I need a products that would add some dimension to my dull face and my skin. I need something to perk it up and make it look fresh and bright. In my search for this effect, I came across Borghese's CuraForte Brilliante ( Brightening Moisture Intensifier).

What it is :

CuraForte Brilliante is formula that helps rehydrate damaged skin, boosts firmness & elasticity, Brightens and evens skin tone. The main ingredients include revitalizing rice protein and toning yest protein that work to improve skin texture & elasticity. The Citrus Unshiu extract helps diminish appearance of dark spots, evens skin tone. Other ingredients work with these to brighten, clarify and increase luminosity. So you'll see it does two things equally well - One, it protects dehydrated skin from losing its elasticity and two, it brightens the skin tone.

My Experience :

Luminosity, that what I was craving for and that is what I got from CuraForte Brilliante. I would be lying if I dint say , I saw an instant effect with this product. Its an ultra light moisturizer that comes in a pink pump style packaging. All you do is squirt it three times onto your palm and spread it all across your face. In a minute you will feel the difference. It made my skin look matte, fresh and energized almost immediately . Don't we all crave Gisele Bundchen kinda freshness on our face everyday ? I certainly did !

After using it twice everyday, for over two weeks I see a marked difference in my skin. It is brighter than before and has a natural luminosity to it that does not come with sparkles or highlighters but only from within. Dull is not the word anyone would use to refer to my skin, anymore.

The moisturizer has a heavenly scent of roses and flowers. Makes me want to grab it first thing in the morning. Borghese has done a commendable job with this product and I HIGHLY recommend it to you. In fact drop what you are doing right now and order one . You will not be disappointed.

I'm not new to oil cleansing. I've used everything form Castor oil, coconut oil , olive oil, mineral on my face to remove makeup. But later I got a little bored of all the oiliness and washing the oil off with another cleanser. Until recently Neutrogena was the only thing I used to take my makeup off. But then I discovered the Mineral Melt from Pur Minerals. In the MUA reviews I read about how it wasn't oily at all , though its an oil cleanser. That was all I needed to hear.

The mineral melt is a oil cleanser that comes in a pump bottle. You just take a little in your palm, spread it on your face , lightly rub for a few seconds and see all the makeup melt away. On your face it turns to a milky liquid. Works great at taking off full coverage foundations, eye makeup, stubborn mascaras and long stay lipsticks. Only for my Urban Decay eye liner along my lower lash line, I had go over the cleanser with a Q tip. But otherwise just light rubbing, does it.

I love using this melt coz I don't have to bring out the cotton pads. Sometimes those pads are rough and I have to take care using it around my eye. With this cleanser , its mostly only my fingers touching my eye. Another big plus is that , I can use it along my water line as well. There is absolutely no burning or any other uncomfortable feeling. It is very very gentle. The mineral melt is not very thick like most other oils and easily washes off with water without leaving any kinda oily residue. I mainly use it as a makeup remover, but it also works great as a gentle everyday cleanser.

Kate looked gorgeous in a vibrant blue Narciso Rodriguez gown and dazzling Chopard jewels. Celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey played up Kate’s eyes with lots of black eyeliner, mascara and shimmering shadow paired with a soft neutral palette on her lips and cheeks. Jillian used Lancôme Artliner in Noir on the upper lash line and then lightly dusted Jillian Dempsey Professional for Avon Eyeshadow Trio in Pebble Wash on the eyelid. She finished the eyes with a few coats of Lancôme Ôscillation Mascara in Black. For the lips, she used Serge Lutens nude lip liner and filled in the entire lip. Finally, she applied Color Fever Gloss in Engaging, a very sheer nude shade, for a high-shine pout.

Anne donned a beautiful white Grecian-inspired dress with gold detail at the neckline and waist. Celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee created a dramatic smokey eye by applying dark eyeliner to the upper lash line and blended it on the eyelid. To make Anne’s eyes pop, she applied several coats of Lancôme Ôscillation Mascara in Black for a faux-lash effect. Kate opted for a soft, stained pout. She applied Lancôme Le Lipstique lip liner in Sheer Natural to the entire lip, then coated the lips with Lancôme Color Fever Gloss in Seductive for a glossy finish.

Angelina looked stunning in a dark, navy blue Max Azria gown. Celebrity makeup artist Mary Burton wanted to create a 60’s look and chose to focus on Angelina’s eyes by applying lots of eyeliner and mascara. She used a liquid eyeliner (Lancôme Artliner in Noir) just above the lash line. To compliment Angelina’s eye color and to make her eyes really stand out, she applied a bluish grey eyeshadow (YSL Ombre Solo Double Effect Eyeshadow in #3 Blue Silk) to the eyelid. Finally, she applied several coats of Lancôme Courbe Virtuôse Mascara in Black. Mary added a touch of pink to the apples of the cheeks using Shu Uemura blush in M Pink 31. To create ultra-shiny and luminous lips, Mary used Lancôme Color Fever Gloss in Rose Jolie.

I tried out the Katie Holmes purple look I mentioned earlier. It was a great inspiration for me to try out more purples. They do look great with brown eyes.

I used Becca Jewel Dust in Asrai all over the lid and under the brows, for the purple sheen. Its a beautiful color , I highly recommend it. Over my lid area I used Color Eye Define in Ometrine. I went over Ometrine with the purple shade from Sleek Palette, to brighten the color. Along the lower lash line, add a bit of charcoal color shadow very lightly lining the lash line. Go over it with a silver / vanilla color shadow that brightens the under eye area. I used Ultra Pearl in Jupiter, another awesome shade.

The Renewal Bio -resurfacing Facial Peel ($75) promised smoother , more refined complexion - a clear Sold !

What it has ?

The masque contains cranberry glycolic alpha hydroxy & refined botanical enzymes that exfoliate, de-congest pores, treats problematic skin. The 5% liposome polypeptide Vitamin C helps accelerate & stimulate collagen production & rejuvenates skin cells. The 12 % beta hydroxy derived from white willow bark acts as an anti inflammatory & exfoliates skin without irritating. Apart from all this goodness, there are ingredients like pumpkin enzyme , apple enzyme that provide antioxidants, fight free radical damage and promote firmness.

My Experience

It is a deep yellow / brown colored gel that you spread all over face and neck. The smell is the exact smell of orange peel. I love that it comes in a pump model so there is no need for putting your fingers into the gel. Just 2 squirts and you have enough gel for neck and face. After about 2 minutes it dries up thoroughly leaving a thin paper like film that washes off with warm water, easily.


Immediately after washing off the product, I looked into the mirror expecting nothing short of a miracle. What I saw was a really clean face, no dryness, almost pure , with smooth surface and all the dead cells banished. It felt great ! But it wasn't a miracle....What it was , was an extremely gentle exfoliator without the need for scrubbing. The next day is when you see the effect of the masque. My skin truly felt and looked rejuvenated . It did for the next 3 days or so. I think this has got to do with the cell renewal , more collagen and all good stuff like that. A peel that makes you look immediately is great but one that continues to make you look better is excellent !

Overall, I get the feeling that repeated use will help my skin in the long run. Not all masques make me feel this. Being in my mid twenties, I guess its time for me to invest in a few if not many products for the better future of my skin . Read more on SukiSpa here

Wooohooooooooo !!! LOST is finally back !! ! This is probably the only show that I have eagerly waited one whole year for ! Sure, Kate is going back to the island, but will she meet Sawyer right away ? What do you think she should get him from the real world ? I'll tell you what - The Living Proof No Frizz Straight Making Styling Spray. I bet it'll keep Mr. Eye Candy's hair frizz free and shiny through sun , rain and all that humidity. As for herself she shouldn't forget to pack the No Frizz Curl Defining Styling Cream. Happy hair y'all !

Now I wouldn't recommend anything for Sawyer unless I absolutely love it. I have had a beautiful experience with No Frizz and now - spread the joy ! I am extremely careful about what I use on my hair. I don't treat it bad, its given good good care. So good that most often the only products touching my hair are Shampoo, Conditioner and Oil. But off late oil has taken a backseat and hair has suffered. A bff of mine who hasn't seen me in a couple of years, saw a recent pic of my hair and commented that the texture had changed dramatically for the worse. All the frizz and lack of shine, made it look limp and lifeless. Time to wake up girl and change with Living Proof.

After a couple of experiments with the No Frizz Straight making Styling Treatment, I came up with a few tips on how to get this to work best. Always use it on freshly washed towel dried hair. Use a lot of product. For my hair ( thick, straight, waist length) I used two big dollops of the treatment. Always blow dry after applying the product. When I air dried my hair, I couldn't see much of a difference. The heat from the dryer activates the product and gets it working. I could see an immediate change in my hair. There were no tangles, no dryness, nothing. My free flowing, silky hair was back !

Thanks to super sweet and very talented Phyllis I won this palette on a giveaway she had , sometime back. This last weekend, I pulled the palette out and had fun using it to create a shimmery metallic look. Its actually a very cute and handy thing to have given that it has a great mix of colors and is of very good quality! I paired the look with Urban Decay 's Midnight Cowboy lipstick , which ended up being a perfect combo to tone down the lips, yet give it enough attention.
