Hello!! How was your day? Mine was good but the last 2 hours have been awesome! I went jogging with a friend of mine and it started drizzling. We continued jogging and then got out the soccer ball from the car and dribbled the ball for a while in the rain....Felt awesome...like a kid in the rain, except I dint have my mom asking me to run back into house - RIGHT NOW ;)

Anyhooo....I made this look using the gold color I had and a couple of Prescriptives Eye shadows. It is kinda on the heavy side hence would be great for Indian weddings I guess. Most brides have a hint of gold on their sarees and since they change so many sarees / lehangas I think this would be a great look to wear with them all. The gold and the brown...both are pretty neutral colors which should look good on most skin tones. Sorry about my dark circles...they are shooing away at all...any tips on banishing them?
I used a shimmery beige color on the inner corner, gold in the middle and a shimmery shimmery brown on the outer corner. Shall add the products later...just feeling lazy now. I am kinda on a heavy makeup mood , so will try n make more looks once I get hold of good bright makeup colors...wat say?

It looks lovely & I love how well the eyliner looks. Mine ends up being too thick or shaky & so I have sort of quit wearing it.

Hey Shrooms!! Thank you for mentioning me on your blog. I read you have java bean....its my absolute fav color. It looks adorable on its own and even better with blues and greens!!

Hey Anon,
Thank you! My eyeliner gets shaky too, of I am not comfy with the brush / the length of it etc. Try experimenting with different brand eyeliners or try gel ones...

Thank you worship-elle!

For some reason though, I have trouble with Java even though I love the color itself - it blends so well as to almost disappear into my skin - I don't know how to use it right :(

Hello, great look!

I have a question...with what kind of eyeliner do you line your waterline? I'm from Holland, so here we only have 'popular' brands like Loreal, dior, lancome clinique, collistar etc.

What 'popular' brands do you recommend regarding lining your waterline? Do you know a way to make sure the line on your waterline does not fade? I have tried all sorts of (waterproof) eye pencils, but I still have this problem...

Hey K!
I use either Revlon or N.Y.C pencil. They donot stay on all day, I usually have to reapply somewhere during the middle of the day.
If you want one that stays put, try the Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner. It remains all day long and does not irritate the eye either! If you get the Loreal HIP line, try their gel eyeliners too...they are pretty good.
Hope this helps!

Hey Shrooms!
Try packing it on instead of sweeping it over your lids. Use a flat brush and pack the color on your lids...this might help. Also try mising it with a contrasting color, may be that could help with bringing the color out :)
