Get this. Get at least one of these ASAP.

Speaking of ASAP ...are you one the A-sap kind or are you the A. S. A. P kind ?
I am more of a A.S.A.P kind.
Just thought I'd throw in there...

The CG Outlast Lip stains ($7.50) are CG's gift to girls with pigmented lips. More so if they are unevenly pigmented. Just run the pen over your clean dry lips and you've got yourself some even coloring ! BAM... just like that.

The story doesn't end there. Not with just one BAM !

2 to 3 hours later they fade and become even more natural and pretty. Sometimes I don't wait - I apply the stain and then press my lips against a piece of tissue for the sexy stain ! This stays put for 6 to 8 hours at least !

Of the four shades I tried,
410 - Bit Of Blossom is the most pigmented, a deep fuchsia.
445 - Cinnamon Smile is true to its name, a rich brown.
415 - Teasing blush is a shade in the raisin family and
420 - Sassy Mauve is a nude sombre mauve.

However I've got a piece of advice for ya. DO NOT apply the lips stain over lip gloss or chap stick. It ruins the product. We'll get back to that chap stick later. For now just remember the words - clean, dry lips.

You'll notice my last (415) swatch is a little wonky because I ran it over lip gloss.

Not not ran it over like an accident.
Or wait may be it is ran it over like an accident coz that's what it was - An accident.
An accident you can learn from.

A little something more - they are very pretty as long as you keep em on your lips. The moment you take it out - lips feel dry. This is when you wanna pull that chap stick out.
See, I told you I'd get back to the chap stick !

I love these lip stains! I have been using them for a while, and they just keep on surprising me with what they can do. When you stain your lips and let the color dry (I'm not sure which color it is that I have but it is one of the berry redish pink ones) and then cover it with pink tinted lip gloss it results in beautiful berry lips that last all day long. It's celebrity worthy color and stay for less than $15.

Hi Priya !

Just try one shade or a couple if on BOGOF coz once they are in the stain mode - they all look kinda similar.

I have to say I agree with your post! I have this shade in cinnamon smile and I just apply a little nude gloss over it and even after the gloss disappears it leaves nicely tinted lips!!!

would it be possible for you to show us your lips before and after using the stain? since you said that they are pretty awesome for pigmented lips, i am intrigued.

Love lip stains, for the most natural, flattering look!

I am the A.S.A.P. kind :).

Hey IG,
I tried these suckas and as much as I wanted to like them, they just weren't working for my really pigmented lips (and none of the shades seemed to work against my NC 50 skintone)
Can you recommend any other stains, even higher end ones? I love the idea of a natural looking, bitten plum type stain.

Hey IG! CVS has a sale going on, so I was wondering if you could put up lip swatches soon. I'll make my decision based on how it looks on you :) THANKS!

Hey Indian Girl,

Tried 415 and it did NOT work for me at all. My lips are heavily pigmented. It looked like I had chewed paan and the damn pen dried up in 1 minute while I was trying to figure out what I had to do to my lips to not make it ugly.

Sad. :(
