I feel like I've hit foundation jackpot with not one but two products. Each one gives me a different look but both are extremely comfortable and natural looking. One is the Sally Hansen Natural Beauty - Airbrush Spray Makeup and the other is Avon's Magic X Tinted Face Perfector. Today lets talk about the Sally Hansen Natural Beauty - Air Brush Spray Makeup

The Air Brush Foundation was released in May this year along with a whole bunch of other products in way of extending the popular line. I say hurrah to that ! I've had some very good experience with this drugstore brand and am glad they're adding more products. The finish I get with the Air Brush Foundation is one of eternal youth. Its the dewy-est I have ever looked. It covers up all the redness and teeny tiny scars very well; almost to a near natural level that's surprising. You know me, I love my $42 Becca Luminous Skin Colour Foundation but I get the same if not better finish with this $13.99 product ! I don't want Sally Hansen to change anything about this foundation. It is absolutely faultless, just as it is.

All you do is spray a little bit of the foundation onto your hand. Use a stippling brush like MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush and apply all over your face and neck. You can also use your fingers, they work just as well. I use my Pointed Kabuki Brush. The formula being on the thinner side, makes it very easy to spread and feels ultra ultra light. Only thing to remember is to shake the bottle well before use. Since it is a pressurized can, shaking the bottle mixes with the product well and gives the right shade. The product also has a wonderful fragrance. I think it is chamomile, but I am not sure. It is very pleasant and calming.

If you are looking for a light summer foundation don't go without trying this one. They have six shades but since they are sheer, it is easy to fit oneself into one of these available colors. Medium is a perfect match for me. I am on my second bottle right now and bought this stuff for my mom as well (she has never worn foundation in her life !) Will let you know what she thinks of it. But if I were rating this product I'd give it a 5 on 5 or an A+ grade !

I am so glad you reviewed this foudation! I was just thinking the other day to get a spray foundation; I wanted to try spraying it directly on my kabuki brush and swirl it over my face for a quick look. Thanks for the heads-up; will go check it out this weekend. So far, Carmindy has not let me down.

I got this last saturday and I really love it for warm weather. But it looks a little gray on me (I have the same shade). Did you have the same problem?

Maybe I'm not shaking it enough... hmmmm...

Hey Divya !

I haven't tried the translucent powder with the brush from S but I did try the powder bronzer with the brush from Physicians formula. My only problem is that if I use it when I face is a bit oily (unhygienic) I end up getting pimples :( I wish I could wash the brush ....

Hi Nosh !

Nope, no gray with this one. But in the past when I got a shade and it felt grey on me I usually went for the next shade and that did it ! May be you could try the next shade or mix the 2 up !

Hi, I am glad that you provide extra info on the Airbrush makeup from SH. I did purchase a can, medium is good for me as well, but I shook the can and quickly sprayed directly over my face. When I opened my eyes I immediately removed the overspray from my brows but the little that got onto my eyelashes made the perfect primer as well as my lips. My lip gloss lasted for a while longer. The foundation is truly long wearing. I love it...but how many applications can you get from this small one ounce can?

Thanks,
Lisa
