Its not very often you see Anne Hathaway do color but she did wear purple eyeshadow at a recent event (click for bigger pic). Its a great look if you are looking to venture into colors, this summer. The eye shadows from The Body Shop's Hot brights Collection seem like a good choice for this look. I'll be reviewing them soon. Another pretty purple look I wrote about earlier was the one on Katie Holmes. The purple in Anne's look can easily be replaced with blue or green and it will still look great ! If you wanna rock the blues you must check out the Urban Decay Baked Palette and the Estee Lauder Sand & Sea Palette. Both have brilliant packaging and wonderfully coordinated colors !
I have a question for you guys. Would you pair purple on the eyes with an apricot blush like Anne did in the picture ? I always pair purple only with pink / mauve. What do you say ? Do you pair purple with warmer shades of coral / terracotta/ apricot ?
