I have been using NYX shadows for a long time now but have never written a "review" on them. This post will make up for it.

In short my NYX experience has been nothing short of great ! I have never been disappointed or even mildly unsatisfied with any of the NYX shadows I've bought. The shadows are finely milled, go on smoothly, have no glitter chunks , brilliant colors with brilliant pigmentation. I really have nothing wrong to say about them. In general I avoid matte shadows because you are never sure about the color payoff. But the few mattes I have from NYX have been good. Have you tried their trio in Copacabana ? Its a very wearable, work friendly trio of matte browns. I love them, I do.

Coming to the look...with the spring (or summer) already here in Dallas, I cannot be bothered with anything heavy on my eyes. Most often it is a choice between just a liner or some shadow. This is something I wore last weekend when I was out in the 8o degree heat along with the rest of Dallas, who were happy to see the sunshine and got out their motor cycles in celebration. The look is extremely easy , fun & girly. It just just a gold ( NYX Blondie) all over the lid and pink ( NYX Hot Pink Glitter ) along the crease. I love this combo ! Hot Pink Glitter is a bubblegum pink with teeny tiny blue sparkles - very different, very pretty. If you haven't tried NYX yet, its about time you give them a shot !

Love,
Indian Girl

Hi IG,
Love your blog and love this summer look. Will surely try it.
I have sensitive skin and I cannot use all the brands.
I have started my cosmetology school and your blog is a real rendezvous to me.

I love these, too! :) They are so great to try more funky, bold colors but their basics are amazing as well.

Hi Indian Girl,

I sent you an email requesting recommendations regarding foundations. Also, sent some tips for articles geared towards makeup newbies (like me!). Hope to hear back from you soon.

Thanks for the review on the NYX eye shadows!

Nice, IG! Glad to see something so simple, as I'm only 14 and just beginning my journey into the make up world. I have the exact same shade of the golden colored "Blondie" NYX eye shadow at home so I was excited to see this post. I have a pink eyeshadow as well and I will definately put that along the crease next time I put my Blondie eyeshadow on!
