Looks like sparkle and glitters are all the rage with makeup brands competing to win our hearts on that front . The latest in that line for me, is from The Body Shop . The Sparkle Eyeliners from The Body Shop were released along with their Winter '08 Collection. They come in two colors : Silver and Green ( very festive!) .

The first thing I loved about them was the size of the bottle. Its cute and small almost like the perfume samples that come in tiny vials - perfect for even the smallest clutch. The next best thing is the formula . The glitters in both the liners are fine, small and densely packed so you get an actual line of glitter and not a few sparkles adhering here and there. I had that problem with Urban Decay - big sparse glitters that sometimes got caught in my line of vision and all I could see were huge sparkly dots ...LOL ! None of those issues with The Body Shop Liners.

My favorite among the two was the green liner. It is a deep green with some blue sparkles in it. So very pretty and almost subtle. Its not the loud kinda glitter. More like the demure , feminine glitter. The silver on the other hand will surely get your eyes noticed ;)

Regularly they cost around $15.50 but are on sale (it says makeup - 3 for $10) now on their site. Definitely check it out if fine, wearable glitter is what you are after.

Love,
Indian Girl

oh since you love the green one, i would recommend lakme's starshine liquid liner in emerald green. try to get it from a relative in india, or when you come here yourself. the liner stays put the whole day.

but theres a minor problem with it. after drying, the liner makes the eyelids feel a bit crinkled. an easy way to get rid of the feeling is to gently press the outer corner of the eye with a finger and stretching it outwards. keep that in mind if you ever buy that particular eyeliner.
