This is a look I had on a few days back. It was inspired from the women on The OC .... I was seeing reruns of it. I love Ryan and his attitude...but I also love how cute Seth is and his geekiness. Have you seen The OC? Who is your favorite character?

Coming back to the look, if you notice Julie Cooper , you will see how she always has white eyeliner along her water line and lines her lower lash line a soft brown color. That is what I have done here. Its nothing extraordinary, but I learnt a thing or two from this look. One, white eyeliner looks very pretty on the waterline. Two, adding the soft brown under the white makes your eyes appear a little bigger and the whites of eyes whiter. Now that for me is valuable information ;)

I used a natural shade across my lids, dragged a white eyeliner pencil along my waterline and used an angled eyeliner brush with soft brown shadow to line my lower lash line. Add some natural looking lengthening mascara and you'll be done! Its a perfect look for work coz its soft and easily wearable.

This is similar to my everyday look except that I tightline my upper lashline in addition. It looks polished without looking too dramatic!

I have yet to try it, but I am told that blue mascara gives you the same effect - bigger eyes with whiter whites. I think I might pick up a blue Borjois mascara sample from ulta and try it out :)

Hey Nosh! Tightline huh? I love tighlining too except its a pain for me to get the liner outta my eyes...so I usually avoid it. Do send me a pic if you try the blue mascara! I could feature you on the blog :) I havent yet ventured out into the colored mascara world... hopefully will one of these days...

Do you really think white eyeliner works for all skin tones? And what eye shadow do you use to line your lower rim? Lastly, what is the natural eye shadow you use? :) Sorry for all the questions...!

Hi Shrooms!
Yup I think white liner looks great on avariety of skin tones but if one is not comfortable with it they can try a nude / natural color liner. My rec would be Stila kajal liners in Apricot / Topaz. It does look more natural. You could also try lip and eye liners in nude shade...which are more easy to find.
I dont remember which shadow I have on in this pic. But I think natural minerals shadow and the baked mineral shadows from Physicians Formula are pretty good.
For lower rim I use either Prescriptives Malt Sparkle / Black Tea. They are both amazing !

Thanks so much! I'll definitely try the Precriptives shadows and/or the Stila kajal :)
