This is my 100th post!!! When did I write all these posts!! Thanks you guys for your wonderful comments .....it makes me want to continue blogging and to come up with better stuff!! Love ya!
So today, I wore this green look for lunch with friends. I think greens look great against brown skin especially dark - olive green. This look can easily be translated into a night time look with a little more black on the corners, heavy eyeliner, some green / black along the lower lash line. Since I wore it for lunch...I dint do all that.
Lunch was great! We went to a Vietnamese restaurant...had lotsa noodle soup ! If you dint know, I am a big foodie...I love all kinds of food and am big on experimenting at home too. Though any day, if I am feeling low or just plain super hungry...nothing can make me feel better than a simple Indian curry / dhal made at home. What say you? Other than that I love Rice....I need it at least 3 times a week...or I can get real nasty ;) Whats your comfort food? Do you die for rice too?
Coming back to the look...
Products Used and Description:
1. Create a crease using the dark green color. Apply it over your crease and outer V. Round the edges or keep em sharp at the end of your eye. I rounded them. Pull the color into the inner corner if your eyes are wide apart, if not stop around the middle.
I used Loreal eyeshadow in Soft Fern
2. Apply a shimmery black shadow on the outer corner of your eye. Blend it into the green around the edges.
If its for a night time look...add more black and extend it a little more outwards and upwards to crate a more dramatic effect.
I used Milani shadow in Storm
3. Apply a bronze shadow on your upper lid under the crease color, filling the rest of the area. Do not blend it into the green or black.
I used the bronze color from my L.A.Colors palette in Truffles.
4. Apply liquid liner along the outer corner of upper lid.
For a night time look add a layer of black eyeliner all along your upper lash line.
I used Prestige Liquid liner in Black.
5. Add black eyeliner using a pencil liner along the water line.
6. For a night time look, add either the dark green or black color along the lower lash line and smudge it for a smoky mysterious effect ;)
7. Last...add lots of mascara and dont forget to do your brows !!
I used Milani lengthening mascara and CG Lashblast.
8. Also add a shimmery beige shadow under your eyebrows.
I used Prescriptives eyeshadow in Bellini.

I have to agree! For a night time look I always end up using a dark green...it definitely compliments our skin tone. I luurrrrve kebabs... :) Keep up the good work.

Mukho: Well, dont forget to send me a pic if you do wear this look!!
Misha: Kebabs yummmm!!!
what do you pair green with for a night time look? I am looking for better ways to use green....I also love green and lots of black combo.
Thanks worship elle!! How was your weekend?
Hey!
I totally agree...for night time I couple dark green with a sparkly black and top it off with dramatic lashes and lots of kohl! If you don't want a heavy look but still evening wear I guess you can use a deep, rich brown instead of the black? Wat do you think?
