Prescriptives is out with its new collection called Urban Heat for Summer 2008. The collection is super summery with lots of shimmer and ;lots of bronze / gold shades. My eyes however, are on the Sunsheen Bronzing Trio and the creamy eye colors ( only coz they promise its long wear). Check out the collection at their website.

I decided to try out the look of the model for Urban Heat - shown below. I loved the look !
I was in a hurry, so forgive my eyebrows and the not so great pictures. This look took me less than 8 minutes yet gave me a super fun summery feeling. Hope you like it!

Products used and Description:

1. Apply concealer all over your lids and on the dark circles.
I used Revlon Colorstay stay Natural Concealer in Medium 4
2. Apply a bronze shade a little over half your eyelid.
I used the bronze shade from LA Colors extreme 4 color eyeshadow palette.
3. Apply a bright blue shade over the outer quarter of your eyelid and blend it a little with the bronze shade.
I used the teal color from Loreal HIP bright eyeshadow duo in Showy.
4. Apply a dark blue eyeliner or a dark blue shadow using a wet angled brush along the upper lash line.
I used the dark blue shade (foiled) from Loreal HIP bright eyeshadow duo in Showy.
5. Using a blending brush, slowing blend the blue color outwards so the color gets softened.

Ranjani:
Lots of new recipes huh?
I know what you mean, its so easy to get stuck in a rut with makeup especially during tight schedules...
I do that with my apricot shadows...
Do try funky stuff....even just a different color eye liner is enough sometimes!
Have a gr8 week!

I've been obsessed with using mac's Macroviolet fluidline lately, it's just so gorgeous, and I just use that on top to line my eyes, and a black or brown (usually mac-Teddy)to line the bottom rim.
I really need to get my hands on the eyeliner you've got going on in that pic, looking really good:)
