This look is all about Milani. All the products used are from my Milani boot. I did not use any concealer since the foundation they gave me was good enough! This post will be a mix of Product Review and Look Description.

Products Used and Description:

1. Face: Apply foundation all over your face. Use concealer if necessary.

I used Milani Glow Natural Brush On Liquid Makeup in Light - Medium.

First when I saw it was Light to Medium, I was skeptical coz my chin is darker than the rest of my face and I was worried if it would look ashy on my chin. But guess what....it was perfect! The shade brought together my whole face into one even color when wasnt too dark for the rest of my face nor too light for my chin. I loved it!!!

Plus the foundation is designed like the click lip glosses. It has a twisting knob on end and a brush attached on the other end. You have to twist the bottom and the foundation will flow out of the brush. The brush is very soft and I have no issues with it.

The coverage is light to medium which is just perfect for summer . i dont like using heavy full coverage ones in summer . I would much rather use a light foundation and let my skin breathe a little more. This is my new fav product. It blends very easily and is not making my face oily. I might buy the medium to tan one if I end up tanning a lot this summer. But until then this color is just perfect!

One thing of concern is the hygiene factor. We must remember to clean the brush often coz it directly touches the face and the product.

2. Eyes: Do your brows. Apply a golden pink color all over the lid and under the brows as a highlighter. Next apply a shimmery brown color on the outer V and blend it onto the crease. Use this same brown color to line the lower lashes. Line the lower water line using a black pencil line. Apply a lengthening mascara.

I used the follwing Milani Products:
Brows : Easy Brow in Natural Taupe
Entire lid : Illusion
Outer V + crease : Java Bean.
Water line : Easy Liner Retractable Pencil in Black
Mascara : Great Lengths in Black

I heard that Illusion is comparable to NYX Flamingo, MAC - Expensive Pink, Lorac - Mesmerize and Java Bean is comparable to MAC Mulch. Java bean is a little more brownish than mulch , I guess. The colors are well pigmented and blend very easily. It was very easy to create the look. Word of caution : they break easily , so handle with care.
The Easy Liner Pencil is good and easy to use. It does not smudge easily but then staying power is not so great.
The mascara is pretty good. I heard not so good reviews on Makeupalley but I quite liked it. It does not clump, gave me a good length. I liked it better than Lash Blast on my weird lashes. You know how sometimes the mascara becomes hard and it is very tuff to apply a third coat? Yeah, well that does not happen with this mascara. even the third coat applied easily without any tugging.
On my brows I used the Natural taupe color. It was a little light for my skin tone but then again darker colors are hard to blend and give a "made up" look. So I thought this was a good color choice for full brows that need just a little touch up. The spoolie on the other end is also very useful.

3. Cheeks: Apply a terracotta-ish color on your cheeks and highlight the cheeks using a shimmery highlighter.

I used Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Glow.

It has a rosy pink - terracotta-ish color (thats the best I could do !!) on one side and a flesh toned shimmery color on the other. I LOVED the blush. On my brown skin it looks awesome. I strongly recommend this product. The is super blendable, super soft, very well pigmented and comes in a huge box which will last forever.

4. Lips: Line your lips using a natural shade. Apply a pink shade and top it off with a clear gloss.

I used Milani Luxurious lipstick and Lip gloss in Crystal. Lined my lips with Easy Liner Retractable Pencil in Most Natural.

The liner is very creamy and applies easily. It is the exact color of my lips, so I can use it with any color. Luxurious is cool toned medium pink with some purpleish undertones. Crystal is a pale pink sparkly gloss with lots of shimmer. I feel like the gloss has a tint of lavenderish sparkles in it which gives a very nice multicolored shine. They are a killer combination which makes me feel like barbie ;)

I highly recommend all the products used in this look. They are pretty cheap and are great for the price. Hope you enjoyed reading this looooooooooong post !

What plans for the weekend? I am planning on exploring a jogging trail nearby. Its suppose to be super scenic and stuff. Lets see....
Have a great weekend, beauties!

Thanks girl! Yeah they are kinda thick but are very shirt and stubborn straight :( Hence my persistent search for curling lengthening mascaras...

Thank you Beautytalk! I am super scared of putting up my face anywhere online....am still not convinced of how safe it is. Thats the reason I dont do full face shots.

Hey Indian girl!
I went all out and wore RED lipstick on Saturday night...and believe it or not, it made me feel powerful!! (In case you're interested I used Chanel'-hibiscus)
If only I could muster up the courage to wear it to work now, that will end all my miseries:)
How was your wknd?

Ranjani:

I have tried a lot but never found one that looked perfect on me. You know how it is with red...youhave to find your true red...
I will definitely try Hibiscus, may be its the one for me tooo!

Hey Indian girl!
You are right about finding the perfect red, its a tough hunt, hibiscus is more like a deep wine color, but it looks good against my skin (I'm around NC42), but every time I go to Mac they match me different...usually in the winter I use NC 42, but I get a lot browner in the summer...anyway I've stopped using foundation and obsessing over color match now:)
