It had been ages since I visited the Dollar Store, so this weekend I hit the one closest to my house. I went straight to the beauty section only to be surprised by all the Cover Girl, Max Factor stuff !! I always thought the dollar stores sold unknown brands which I would never buy - not so anymore! I settled for this palette of Bronzy/Gold colors from LA Colors for $1.50 .
It is called - LA Colors Extreme Wear Eye Shadow in Truffles.
The palette is cute with 4 colors in it. The colors would roughly be a dirty gold, a bronze, a white-gold, a darker crease color which looks soooo much like MAC Sable. They are all shimmery and will look wonderful against any Tanned/Indian skin tone. The shimmer is not chunky but not very subtle either.
The packaging's looks cute as I said before, but is a pain to get it to open. The brush it came with is totally useless. The colors are well pigmented and blend easily on their own. I am not sure about the staying power yet coz I took em off in less than an hour.My eyes are a little sensitive and are having a not so great time with this shadow so..I dont know if I would buy it again but for $1.50 I am not returning it either :)

Oh, it looks so cute! The round brush always freaks me out, I don't know why, I always imagine it will poke me in the eye :) The $1.50 price is gooood..nice pick!
Hahha...yeah they are pretty rough. Best to avoid using them.
