Yeah..how DO you ?

I'm telling you man...things go down hill from 25. Or at least I am feeling that way. Is it genetics ? I know my family is not the best at looking 30 when you are 50 but does it all really start so soon ? At 26 ?

Till 25, I never had any issues. And now suddenly my dentist wants me to come in often, my skin is a recurring dry nightmare and as of yesterday its my nails . They seem so weak and the nail on my toe has some weak furrows on it.

What's next bones ?

I'm not ready for this. Not already !

(Nahi - Hindi for No)

Could you guys please help me with some tips on strengthening nails. Give it to me. I'll try anything.
Help me.
Help me, please.

For now I have been using the Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment (Strength). Its only been a day. Too soon for iron clad nails. But I'd like to think it'll help.

I thought I'd share a pic of my eye makeup for today.

I know this sounds but prenatal vitamins are amazing for strengthening nails and hair! Or biotin supplements should help.

Barielle makes a great cream that you just rub in your nails. I never had weak nails until just last year. My husband had been complaining about his and I bought him some of the Sally Hansen nail repair. So I used his and found that it was just a coat of polish that seemed to temporarily glue the nail together but didn't fix the problem! I bought the Barielle nail strengthening cream on Amazon. You hardly need any and just dab it on and rub into the cuticle and nail (even over nail polish!) before you go to bed or while you are sitting and watching TV. It's helped my nails so much! And it smells lovely.

Prenatal vits, yes! I am 45, and had a baby at 42, and ever since, I've been taking prenatal vitamins and my hair and nails are looking better and better every day...! Go for it!

Hi,Nails and hair are indicators of the body's health condition. If you have been on a diet or your health has not been on the bright side then it starts showing on these areas. It seems to be a nutrition problem .Maybe you can take a rain check on your diet and see what is lacking.Even bad timings are not good for your health .So you might want to work on that area.Hope this helps-Regards, Amritha.

Prenatal vitamins are great! I may continue having them even after my baby is born, but main thing is to make sure you have some vitamins everyday, fresh fruits and drink at least 2 glasses of milk everyday. Another great thing to do is soak 4-5 almonds in luke warm water before sleeping at night and have them first thing in the morning, this is great for your health, hair and skin. Besides that cut out soda, drink lots of water or water w/ lemon and get lots of sleep :)

Do I hear a nahiiiiiiii! lol!

I have the same problem with hair and nails. My health is good over-all... just have to work on the diet a bit :)

I take prenatals but they don't seem to help much.

Also, with biotin, you have to be careful because in some people it can cause acne.
