Happy Saturday !
I woke up this morning to a beautiful day outside. Cant wait to get out and do something.
That something will most probably be groceries. My refrigerator is almost empty.
No Milk
No Eggs
No Waffles
No Bread
No Veggies
All it has is ( or is it are ...)
Two apples
A bunch Of Celery
Kraft Low Fat Olive Oil Mayo (buy this now.)
A bunch of Chinese Sauces - LOVE CHINESE FOOD.
Before I leave, I wanted to introduce you guys to a few great places on the web. If you've been following me on twitter you know I recently finished Jillian Micheal's ( Biggest Loser) 30 day Shred - Will write about my experience soon.
A big part of any workout regime is the food. These are a few sites I look at for inspiration.
Lots of fat free dessert recipes. I stumbled upon this one when I was looking for a good fat free - relatively healthy oatmeal raisin cookies recipe. If you have one - email me !
I've spoken about Lauren before - she runs veganyumyum and recently published a book too ! Try this Avocado Wasabi Salad that's on her homepage - its the best !
Sarahfit is good source for simple doable exercises. She posts several youtube workout videos which you can favorite and make a regime of your own. I have been working out on and off for a while now. But when I say off its 6 - 8 months off so I've gotten out of my ideal body weight / type. Getting back to it is a challenge I am on now. Over the years I've learnt so many moves that sometimes I simply need a refresher and this site is great for that !
Run by Jai & Bee - a husband wife duo - this site has a lot on everything. I love how the two research and give simple elaborate knowledge to their readers while maintaining a certain spunk. This post on sweeteners is one of my favorite posts !
A family of seven - mom, dad and five kids are on a raw vegan food journey. And this site documents a huge portion of what they eat, why they do and how it helps the body. I sure am inspired to add a lot more raw food into my diet without driving myself crazy or trying to get a sectional plate look so wonderful !
What Have You Got There For Me ?
There is so much on the web. So many wonderful sites to explore. If there are any sites you'd recommend, go ahead and leave a comment below. I will make a note of it and recommend them in the next edition of Around The Web World !
I am planning on adding a health side to the blog. Will you be interested in it ? It will help me share my work out routines, some new findings , few exercises and so much more with you guys. And it will keep us both inspired to carry on...
Love,
Indian Girl

I'm loving the idea of adding a health side to your blog! Would be very interesting to read!
I can't wait to hear how The Shred was for you. I have been contemplating it for some time myself.
Great post! I liked 'jugalbandi.info' and that it has a casual touch to it...a health sidebar to your blog would be such a great idea! it would be nice if you were to share things that worked for you...
For all-american food i'd recommend pioneerwoman.com. She has a best selling cookbook out just now and has been on all the morning talk shows. For Asian inspired food, try steamykitchen. Jaden's a food writer and provides great working knowledge. Neither are low-fat. But they are delicious.
And they have great families whose life journeys are chronicled in their blogs w/ good photos alongside.
Looking forward to hearing about your exp. w/ the shred.
I would love to hear how your experience was with the shed as well as seeing a healthy section on your blog!
