How would you describe the color Twilight Nude ?

(you've seen the movie right ? Its about vampires and their purple-y lips)

This is how I describe it - A purple-y grape color that mimics the twilight vampire's lips but still looks natural, alive and wearable every single day. A hint of shimmer will make it perfection...

Check that lipstick I just described in action. Nothing to be scared of here !

The Long Last Soft Shine Lipsticks ($14) have a brilliant formula - just moisturizing enough without feathering away. They have better staying power than the Clinique Butter Shine Lipsticks and a hint more color. Unlike every other long last lipstick I've tried - these do not dry out my lips nor do the colors look flat. However it is the drying, the too much pigment in other lipsticks that make them long lasting , so that's that.

I wore this yesterday with just concealer + mascara on my eyes and this blush - very wintery , very pretty !

Love,
Indian Girl

i tried clinique's full potential lips plump and shine for the first time a month or so ago. it was their #12 voluptuous violet. it came as a part of their free gift bag. i am now obsessed with it. i cant wear lipstick anymore. this is all i wear. it has just the perfect amount of colour and lasts quite a while. i mean you do have to touch up after you eat but that's about it. i love it!!

Ooh...this is such a pretty nude shimmery shade. The 'Twilight' in it just makes me want it more. Man!
Are they minting money. The description does sound darker than the real thing :)

Hi Cynthia !

Aww...thank you :)
And LOL ! Naa...it wasn't named after the movie. Its a petty old shade. It just happened to fit right in with the vampire movie !

Hi Anon !

I did not use a lip liner.
And it WILL show up on much more pigmented lips. I applied just one coat of it. The color can get a lot more deeper !
And I get to a NC 40 in summers and I am sure this will be great then too...except I always stick to peachy warm colors in summer ;)
