Howdy !

Its a beautiful morning ! Listening to the Beatles makes it all the more pleasant !
Good Day Sunshine !

And then, it got better when I started playing with my new Bobbi Brown Forest Shimmer Gel Eyeliner. The new shade in the award winning gel eyeliner formula was introduced along with Bobbi Brown's New Fall 2009 Ivy League Collection

The Color

I bet when Bobbi came up with this shade she let out the evil laughter and went " Beat that ".

Imagine a deep deep green with a hint of brown, a hint of cement gray and lots of warm gold specks. Just the kinda thing to brighten up your morning ! I get the feeling this will soon become one of their best selling shades. Really, its like black / brown - anybody and everybody can wear it and its not as bland as the regular solid colors ! Eyeliner party everyday !

The Formula

Its truly long wear no doubt. But what I really liked about the formula is how the eyeliner lays beautifully along my lashes. It makes for gorgeous flat even line. No bumps or uneven edges or tiny cracks at the end of the day. Its extremely easy to apply hence highly recommended for those of us who are challenged in this area. Just a regular eyeliner brush is all you need to get a gorgeous line along them lashes. Plus you can wear em many ways !

Just the Uppers

Or the full upper and half lower

Or go all out all around !

You Know You Twist So Fine !

The thing with gel eyeliners is they last forever as long as you remember to twist the cap on real tight. Twist and Shout ! Come On Come On Come On Baby, Now !

Have you tried the Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliners ? Which one is your favorite shade ?

The Beatles !

How I wish I was born in the sixties. Really....I keep secretly hoping four kids somewhere in this world are preparing themselves to be the next Beatles like band. Girl is one of my all time favorite songs but then I love so many others too. Its all about how I'm feeling then. Today its all about The Twist !

What is your favorite song by The Beatles ?

Love,
Indian Girl

I love the Beatles too! I just happened to see a movie on TV a few weeks ago called "Across The Universe" It has Beatles songs throughout and it's a love story combined with life & times during the 60's. I think you'd like it....especially the music!!

That color looks awesome on you! I have to tell ya you have the best little flick at the end of your eye with the eyeliner. I am still trying to achieve that.
I love The Beatles as well. When I was in sixth grade I realized how awesome they were and bought a guitar book with their songs (I didn't know how to play the guitar and still don't!) My mom was obsessed with them too and had a folder that was yellowing with all of the pics she had saved of them from way back when. My fav was George. I really love the song Girl too especially after I saw Across the Universe. Awesome movie. Sorry for the long comment!

What SRK detained at the Newark airport! I love him. I was going to comment on your post when I saw the previous comment. I just bought the Bobbi Brown Forest Shimmer Ink. I haven't tried it yet. Looks lovely on you. I've been trying other gel liners and I thought I better try a good brand. I've tried the liner from mineral makeup companies and Coastal Scents. The quality isn't always good. It was time to try Bobbi Brown. I'm also a huge Beatles fan. I love the music from their early days the best. I'm a McCartney fan. It's great that I can still see him.

Hi Nessa !

Gotto see the movie ! 2 recs ! Isnt Girl such a sweet song. First time I heard it I cried...Gorge was cute except I wanted to give him an eyebrow pencil :p

And the flick in this pic is a bit easy. I extended the line I drew along lower lashline a bit up.
