Exactly one month back I detailed my experience with the Sun Maita At Home Threading Kit. There was A LOT of interest on this subject and it continues to be one of the most popular story on AIMB. So, I decided to write a follow up post .

Its been a month since I last threaded my face. I've had just the regular amount of growth in this time. I am not very sure if its psychological but I feel like the hair is teeny weensy bit finer.

Hair apart I decided to try threading the second around with the little growth I've had in a month's time. This was a great decision because threading was a breeze ! I appreciate the kit a whole lot more now ! One thing I noticed was that if I had the two threads twirled way too tight, it hurt like hell. Winding it about 4 times is more than enough. It should not be wound very tight. This also makes it whole lot easier on my fingers because I don't have to use a lot of pressure.

I am still over the moon about the fact that I don't have to put up with any scars on my face. Even if I run the thread many times on the same place all I get a really small dot of a nick which neither hurts nor looks weird.

Since there was so much interest and since I absolutely love this product I decided to have a giveaway . Enter today to win One Complete Sun Maita At Home Threading Kit worth $150 !!!!

There are two ways to enter this giveaway

1. Subscribe to receive daily updates from AIMB via email. Just enter your email address in the box below and leave a comment saying you did !

Enter your email address:

Delivered by FeedBurner

or

2. Follow me on Twitter and tweet me / leave a comment below saying you do !

http://twitter.com/IndianGirl

If you are not on twitter, you must get on it - NOW. I talk a lot more on twitter about whole lotta beauty and non beauty things and once you get on we can tweet each other endlessly about anything and everything under the sun !

This contest is open to US And Canada residents and ends on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11 PM CST. I'll be picking out the winner randomly and announcing them on Saturday.

Apart from this , I would love to hear about any other questions you have when it comes to facial hair. How do you handle facial hair ? Do you have a routine you follow ?

Love,

Indian Girl

Hey
I follow you on twitter. I've been feeling really embarrassed lately about my facial hair - it's a lot more noticeable after many bleachings! but I dont want to bleach it anymore cuz the blond hair is just as noticeable! The lady I go to to get my eyebrows threaded lives an hour away and I'm worried that if Im a couple of days late going, the hair is going to be realllly visible. I would love to try something like this - at home!

Just followed you on Twitter! Looking forward to reading your tweets.

Great giveaway! I have been wanting to try this since you posted about it a few weeks ago!

I just Follow-ed you on twitter.
I have a quick question: Have you used the threader to shape your eye brows? I checked the website and it says somewhere in the bottom of the how-to page not to use it around the eye.
Thanks for doing the giveaway!

This is the first time I've ever heard a blogger discuss facial hair and ways to remove it which is ridiculous because most women do have facial hair and try all sorts of dumb home remedies to get rid of it. I know this issue might be embarassing to many women but it's a reality and you are the first person with the guts to raise the issue. I've never heard of threaading but from what I read in your blog, it sounds very interesting. I signed up for this giveaway in the 2 ways you advised: signing up for your newsletter and following you on twitter. Thank you for having the courage to be the first to raise this very embarassing but real problem and thank you for this wonderful giveaway.

I am an email subscriber. I am not on Twitter....I can't even keep up with email all the time, so I have taken on tweets yet. I am so interested in this kit! I am still tweezing away. I am latina and have an ongoing battle with facial hair that I don't usually even discuss with others. I was just wondering tonight about how much of my life I will end up spending in front of a mirror tweezing hairs. Scary thought...but great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win.

I need to win this kit bad! I'm an email subscriber. I'm also following you on Twitter and left you a Tweet. I have these horrible black hairs that now grow out of my chin. It's not severe but I could never let it grow out or bleach it. I need to try threading. I use an Epilater every day. I still can't get all the hairs. They also get ingrown and you can see them right under the skin. Do you or anyone have any advice for me? I need something that I could do at home. Thank you.

Hey!! I love your blog and when I heard about this set when you reviewed it, I fell in love with it instantly. I has a bad experience waxing a couple of years ago. It actually caused my to break out so badly that it took me 2 years to recover! Since then, I do try waxing once in a blue moon and I still end up scarring a little without fail. I would love to try this kit your giving away. Pick me pick me!!

I follow you on email only. My address is hk_1114[at]hotmail[dot]com
