Imagine a perfume that you could wear everyday, effortlessly. It is so simple yet classic and elegant in a way that it could be your signature perfume. That is Pearls by Carol's Daughter.
Pearls marks Carols Daughter's foray into the world of fine fragrances and what a job Lisa Price has done with it !

" At first breath Pearls embraces the feminine sparkle of bergamot, lemon and the vibrant impression of anise and verbana, along wit the luscious aspect of apricot and peach. The fragrance evolves into a voluptuous floral heart of intoxicating jasmine , rose and violet leaves ,smoothly blending the fresh sensation of clean aldehydes. The dry down radiates warmth with notes of musks and vanilla, wrapped around the sensuality of caramel, further enhancing its allure "

Top Notes : Anise, Bergamot, Lemon, Verbana, Apricot, Peach
Mid Notes : Jasmine, Rose, Ylang- ylang, Fresh Aldehydes, Violet Leaves
Dry Down : Musks, Caramel, Vanilla

Do I smell lemon, caramel, apricot, anise and peach separately ? No. I smell something so pleasant that it wont bother any soul around me. It is a soft complex fragrance that gets softer with time. You know me, I cant stand anything very sweet. I am more of a floral person and this perfume gives me that and much much more. It is a great day time perfume that will work very well for both summer and winter. If you are one for a stronger perfume during the night then you will have to skip this one at dusk.

The other thing I love about this perfume is this. I am allergic to perfumes on my neck. The moment I spray some on and it touches anywhere around my neck I break out there. But with Pearls this did not happen. I almost forgot and sprayed as usual all over without taking care to not spill some on my neck area and to my surprise nothing happened. I was ecstatic when I realized this !!

The packaging is inspired by the artwork of pearl necklaces signifying nature , beauty and femininity. I love the round pearl head of the bottle. For $45 this is one beautiful way to make something your signature perfume for the day or make some one's day by gifting it to them.

Love,
Indian Girl

Thank you for the review! I have been wondering about this - I especially wondered if it was made from essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance (like all other perfumes), since I know this brand tends to be more natural. Do you know if that's the case?

Hi Elisa !
I think this is just like any regular perfume. The fragrance is inspired by natural scents but I don't think this one is made from essential oils...its feels and dries up like any other perfume.
Have a gr8 weekend !
