Leona Lewis Inspired Blue Eye Look !

Yup, I've been on a Leona Lewis overdrive, LOL ! This is an old video from when she was competing on X Factor. I loved the blue eye makeup and decided to try it. Unfortunately deep blues don't look great on me. I really love deep blue but they make me look tired. The brighter teals are much better. I hope you have better Leona like luck with deeper blues.





Products Used and Description :

1. Apply concealer all over your lids and under eyes.
I used 3C cream concealer in #6.

2. Apply a matte deep blue as base all over your lid.
I used the blue from Julie Hewett Boheme palette

3. Apply a shimmery blue over the matte blue.Blend this color outwards and upwards so the intensity of the decreases on the outer edges, softening the look.
I used Alima Mineral shadow in Azure.

4. Apply a shimmery gold on the inner corner. Helps brighten the whole look.
I used the gold from Skinn Summer Patina palette.

5. Apply a white gold color as highlighter and blend it a little bit with the outer edges of the shimmery blue color.
I used the white gold from Skinn Summer Patina palette.

6. To take down the look by a couple of notches , apply the white gold color with a light hand all over your lid. This decreases the intensity of the blue and makes it wearable during the day.

7. Do your brows, apply mascara, line your upper and lower lash line with a black pencil liner / liquid liner.

8. Line the lower lash line with the shimmery blue color using an angled eyeliner brush.
