Julie Hewett Cheekie - Bette : Review

With a big drawer full of lipsticks and lip glosses, most often I don't know what I want to wear. Sometimes I think it would be simple to just have one pink, one red, one nude lip gloss but then almost immediately I follow it with..one coral, one mauve, one purple, one brown ....and the list will result in one big drawer full of lipsticks and lip glosses.

But there is one product that I've been reaching out to when ever I have no time to think. Its the Cheeky in Bette ($24) from Julie Hewett. Its a pretty bronzy color with a hint of pink, some peach , hint of gold shimmer - overall a pretty beautiful color. It is a multi functional products as in it can be used on your cheeks and your lips. On my cheeks this color comes off a little too strong but I think it will look great on medium dark to dark skin tones .

A reviewer on MUA also compares it to NARS Gueule de Nuit but says this one is better in both color and formula ! I haven't tried the NARS one but I do love this !


The product is so pigmented that it almost stains my finger when am applying it. It is not a moisturizing product probably that's why it stays on much longer than most lip products. The cheekie comes in a cute pot that holds SO MUCH product ! I don't think I will finish this unless me and about 6 friends of mine apply this every single day for a year, LOL ! My eyes are on Peachie and Rosie now...they look soooooo pretty !
