I need inspiration, and what better inspiration that Aishwarya Rai. I loved this blue smokey eye look she sported at a recent event. Its simple but ends up looking very pretty !

Products used and Description :

1. Apply concealer all over your lids to hide any dark circles. Use some powder to set the concealer.
I used Three Custom Colors Concealer in #6 and Maybelline Mineral Powder.

2. Apply primer all over your lid (optional)
I used Urban Decay Primer Potion.

3. Using a flat eyeshadow brush, dab a dark blue shimmery shadow all over your lid. Extend it a little on the outer edge slightly winging it out.
I used Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Goddess

4. Use a matte black/charcoal shadow sparsly on the outer ede of the eye , blending it into your crease. Do not extend it above your crease.
I used ULTA Flirt Eyeshadow in Sultry

5. As your highlight under you brow use a shimmery beige color.
I used Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Midnight Cowboy.

6. Apply black liquid eyeliner along upper lashline and run a black pencil liner along your waterline.
I used Urban Decay Pencil in Zero and Prestige Liquid Liner.

7. Use the same dark blue shadow to line your lower lashline with an angled eyeliner brush.

8. Do your brows and apply mascara.
I used Milani Eyebrow Pencil in taupe , Milani Great Lengths Mascara.

Thats it !

This is the first time I liked how dark blue looked on me. I am so glad it turned it good ! I'm gonna go make some yummy tortillini for dinner. I got it at this store called World Market. Have you been there ? I feel like buying everything in that store!!

Love,
Indian Girl

Hey Nosh ,

I did too ! I saw her pic first on HHC and knew I had to try that look. Did you know Midnight Cowboy is one of UD's best selling shadows ? It works as a great highlighter !

You wont believe me but that CG Wetslicks gloss I tried would have been perfect but I threw it out coz I never used it. Maybellie Super stay in Golden Pink, MAC Delicate Crush, Hot Gossip or NYX Bubblegum pink lipgloss - basically I think any cool bugglegum pink kinda color I guess...

Thanks Indian Girl! I love that color because it works so well with her skin tone. Usually pinks like that wash me out. I will try your suggestions.
