I have mentioned this before, but I'd like to tell it out again. Green is great alternative to brown and nude shadow for work place. But we have to find the right green with the right amount of pigmentation. A dark olive or moss green in a matte / pearl finish shadow with not so heavy pigmentation should look great paired with a nude color or on its own swept all over your lid.

I like to avoid using black eyeliner because it seems a little heavy to me. A great alternative to black would be a white/ nude eyeliner on the water line and using the same green shadow along your lower lash line. That is exactly what I've done for this look.

Products Used and Description:

1. Apply concealer all over your lid and under eyes
I used 3C cream concealer in shades 3 and 6.

2. Apply the green with pearl finish all over your lid and under your brow bone.
I used the light green from Thevi Triple Split Eyeshadow in Hemisphere.

3. Apply the oatmeal color shadow on the inner corner using a small eye shadow brush.
I used the lightest color from Thevi Triple Split Shadow in Hemisphere.

4. Apply a matte dark olive color on the outer V and crease and blend. Keep it soft since we are aiming for a conventional work place look.
I used a dome shaped fluffy brush for blending.

5. Apply the dark olive color along your lower lash line with an angled eyeliner or a small smudge brush.
I used the dark olive color from Hemisphere and applied with the Eye #4 Adesign brush.

6. Apply a nude or white eyeliner along your waterline.

7. Apply a lengthening mascara and do your brows.
I used Thevi mascara in black.

I am loving the Thevi mascara. It is the best curl holding /curl creating mascara I have ever known. I did not even curl my lashes for this look.. This mascara does a great job at lengthening as well ! I will soon have to do a review , I really like it. If only it did not clump it could give Lash Blast a strong competition.

Since you went pretty subtle on your eyes, you could easily do a red or any other dark lip here. I instead went for a shimmery nude. I used Sequin lipstick from Thevi. Its a great shimmery nude for pigmented lips. The formula feels so soft and the lipstick just glides smoothly on my lips !

So that was my work place makeup using just one shadow which holds three complimenting colors from Thevi Cosmetics. You can read about the founder of Thevi and her inspiration behind the line of cosmetics here on her blog.
