What it is ...is a shadow with liquid to powder finish shadow. The color I have it in is Beige Metallique. Its perfect to either act as a base for your powder shadow or to be worn on its own.

The best part of the product is the packaging. It is super cute!! Reminds me of mortar and pestle used to grind herbs. But no grinding required here. The shadow is finely milled and does not appear as chunks on your lids.

Very little goes a long way with this product coz all you need to do is apply 2 to 3 dots and rub them all over your lid for a wonderful shine. It works great as a subtle highlighter. You could apply a second time if you want your highlighter to be "out there" but I personally like a light sheen under my brows. You'll feel a cool tingling sensation the minute you put it on. It goes away as soon as you rub it. One thing to remember is to spread the shadow asap because the product dries to a powdery finish almost instantaneously.

The doe foot applicator makes it easy to apply, however I would advice spreading it with your ring finger so you avoid having too much product on. Once spread it leaves a wonderful shiny metallic finish which stays put for at least 7 to 8 hours.

You could also use an angled liner brush and use this as an eyeliner. It works perfectly well that way too. The Bourjois Shimmering Shine Liquid Eyeshadow is available in 6 shades and costs about $16 each. They are available at Sephora and Ulta
