Check out the new quads from MAC! The Cult Cherry Collection that is coming out this September features three quads apart form a few lipsticks, glosses and blushes. The only thing that caught my eyes are the eye quads. As I have mentioned before I really think its better to invest in palettes / quads instead of individual shadows. Apart from saving money, they are much easier to carry around to put a good look together! The colors are most often coordinated, so you dont have to worry about carrying a base, crease and highlighter etc. The quads retail for $36 and should be available by September at your MAC stores!

Eye shadow X4 – Spiced Chocolate Quad ($36.00)

  • Nanogold Sheer yellow pink with pink pearl (frost)
  • Brash Frosty reddish copper (vxp)
  • Spiced Dirty deep reddish brown (matte)
  • Sweet Chestnut Frosted cranberry (frost)

Eye shadow X4 – Tempting Quad ($36.00)

  • Next to Nothing Sheer yellow beige with pink pearl (frost)
  • Sharp Frosty bright yellow gold (satin)
  • Dark Edge Dirty chocolate brown (satin)
  • Tempting Rich coco (lustre)

Eye shadow X4 – Shadowy Lady Quad ($36.00)

  • Light Fall Dirty light pink (satin)
  • Smudge Violet Frosty blackened lavender with multi-dimensional pearl (frost)
  • Deep Truth Very dark blue (frost)
  • Shadowy Lady Darkly veiled plum (matte)

If I had to pick one of these quads, I think i would go for either Tempting or Spiced Chocolate. The colors in these quads seem pretty warm and will definitely look good on brown skin! I am leaning more towards tempting coz I think I have colors similar to the ones in Spiced Chocolate. What would you choose?

Spiced chocolate for sure! I actually need more such colors since I'm an eye-makeup novice. However, I often find that the lightest color in these palettes is usually too late for me, but maybe I need to play more!

Spiced Chocolate without a doubt! I just love it, and I've been looking for it for a loooong time. Today it finally came in the mail, and I'm even more in love with it than I thought I would be. <3
