This is a great look for both day and night. I have had this weird color shadow from Ulta for a long time that just did not show up well on its own, no matter what. So I used a pencil underneath it and voila.....it turned into a pretty pretty purplish wine color. Pairs wonderfully with my brown skin and brown eyes. I think i can go ahead and say this is a great color combo for brown eyes in general.

Products Used and Description:
1. Apply a dark color pencil ( dark brown/ dark red / copper) all over your lid.
This will act as a base for the shadow.
I used Revlon High Dimension Eye liner Pencil in Garnet.
2. Apply a wine colored shadow over the penciled area. Slightly blend the shadow in the outer corners so there are no harsh edges.
I used Ulta Mineral Eyeshadow in Haze.
3. Use a green colored eyeliner along your lower eyelash. I did not want to use the dark green color I had coz it would clash with purple. I think this bright light green color brightens the eye area. ALternatively you can use a gold color pencil too.
I used an Ulta liquid to powder shadow in Peridot with an angled eyeliner brush.
4. Line your waterline with a black eyeliner pencil.
I used NYC pencil in Black.
5. Curl your lashes and apply lengthening mascara.
I used Milani Lengthening Mascara in Black

Also in this look I didnot use a black liner along my upper lashes. This is because the purple on its own looked great and defined my eyes pretty well. You could add the black liner for a night time look.

Hi Worshipelle!
Thanks Girl!
Yup, I used an eyeliner pencil all over my lid. Its just like using a MAC shadestick :) If the pencil is soft and does not tug at your skin, then its fine to use it over your lid, I guess....

Hey Anon !
Thats gr8 ! Yup smudging the gold out would look gr8 too! I kept it straight coz I was trying to achieve an eyeliner effect plus the liquid to powder shadow does not smudge out well :(
Gr8 tip!
