Truthfully I do realize that JLH doesnt really care if we like it or not. No one should. The lady loves it and is flaunting it with many other things( like her gorgeous shoes is all I meant)
But for me, the nails don't work. I am all for bright summer nails but they must exist all along the length of the nail. We are talking full on yellow ! The yellow tips on the lines of white french manicure is not my style.
What about you ? You liking them ? Do you approve of yellow tips ?
Love,
Indian Girl
i agree!
ReplyDeleteI really like JLH and appreciate she doesn't care what people think.
And i really like yellow color...but....no!
I don't know, maybe it's like you said the yellow tips on the lines of white french manicure or maybe i think it's because of her style...I think yellow nails will be great with a more "sportswear look"..
JLH can do no wrong in my eyes haha! But this looks too much like the aunties with curry stained nails...just updated. JLH can totally rock it, but no brown girl will ever really get away with it!
ReplyDeleteWhy should being brown or any other color have anything to do with what you do or don't wear? I'm not brown OR white and I would do what I like!
ReplyDeleteWhen the tips part of the manicure are a different color, IMO they do not look good - natural with yellow tips, navy with black tips, or ANY version. So, I wouldn't wear them myself. However, you are all welcome to do those yourself!
Happy manicuring and pedicuring!
I think it looks tres cute!
ReplyDeleteShe can pull it off, and anyone with nice hands in particular.
Skin color shouldn't matter, imo.
I like the twist on the orignial manicure.

The yellow color is too light and bright and doesn't go good against the clear coat. It's just all too light, and it does kind of remind me of curry. Personally, if I wanted a break from the typical french manicure, I'd try a darker tip.
